Invincibility

In the Japanese version, press B(2), Select, A, Up, Select, Right, Start before the title screen appears. The word "MUTEKI" will appear to confirm correct code entry.

Level select

Enter one of the following codes at the title screen, press Start.

• Level 2: Press A, B, A(3), Up, Down, B.
• Level 3: Press Select, A, B(2), A, Select, Down, Up.
• Level 4: Press Right(2), Down(2), Up(2), B, Select(2).
• Level 5: Press Down, Right, Left, B, A, B, Select(2).
• Level 6: Press Up, Left(2), Right, B, Select, A, Select.

Boss Rush mode

In the Japanese version, press A, B, A, Select(3), Right, Up, Start at the title screen.

Switch skills during game play

Press Select during game play and change skills as if you were at the start of the game. Note: This cannot be done while fighting a Boss.

Hints

Secret walls

Shoot five to ten times at each wall in each position to find secret rooms.

Energy refill

Enter rooms that do not have a kid in them and defeat all the enemies to get your energy refilled.

Defeating El Toro

Use the Fire Bomb, Fire Ring, lightning, and missiles (in that order).
