Enter 3V35NLLE as a password.

Enter 9ENVI555 as a password to unlock all levels plus all of player one's special items and most of player two's special items.

Cheat mode

Highlight the "Password" option at the title screen and press Pause. The border will turn blue. Enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function.

• Extra lives and all power-ups: Press 1, Left, Down, Up, 1, Up, 1, Up.
• Three extra lives: Press Down, 2, 1, Right, 1, Down, 1, 2.
• Five extra lives: Press Down, Up two times, 1 three times, Up, Left.
• Extra life: Press Right, Left two times, Right, Up, Down two times, Right.
• Food Sprite viewer: Press Up, Left, Down, Left, Down, Up two times, Left.
• Show hints (Japanese version): Press Left, Down, Left, Down, 1, 2, 1 two times.
• Start with the shoes: Press Left, Up, Left, Right, Left two times, Down, Right.
• Start With the shoes and blue candy: Press Up, Down, Right, Down, Left two times, Down, 2.
• Start with the shoes and three candies: Press Left two times, 1, Right, Down, 1, Down, Left.
• Start with the shoes, three candies and fairy: Press Right, 1, Up three times, 1 two times, 2.
• Start with the shoes, three candies, fairy, and three lives: Press 1, Left, Down, Up, 1, Up, 1, Up.

Bonus room

Begin game play and blow bubbles around the three opponents on level one. Do not pop the bubbles. Blow bubbles around the opponents after they turn red. Avoid Baron von Blubba, and keep putting the opponents in bubbles until a door appears. Enter this door to reach a bonus room.

Alternate ending sequences

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding ending sequence.

• Bad Ending: Defeat the final Boss in level 100 without the three magic balls.
• Good Ending: Defeat the final Boss in level 200.
• Normal Ending: Defeat the final Boss in level 100 with the three magic balls
