Stage select

Hold A + B + C + Left and press Start at the title screen. Use the D-pad to select a starting stage.

Invincibility

Hold A + B + C + Up and press Start at the title screen.

Unlimited lives

Press Right, Left, Right, Left, Down(3), Up, Left, B at the title screen. The number of lives remaining will return to nine after reaching zero.

Unlimited energy

Press Up, Down, Up(2), Down, Up, Right, A at the title screen, then press Start to begin game play.

Unlimited continues

Hold Right and press Start at the title screen.

Additional stages

If you select the Easy difficulty setting at the "Option" menu, you can only play until stage 4. However, if you select the Normal or Hard difficulties, you can play until stage 6, or the same last stage and view the ending.
